Legislative Spotlight: LD 182
One of the most critical advocacy efforts underway is support for LD 182 – An Act to Require the Department of Health and Human Services to Establish MaineCare Reimbursement Rates for Maine Veterans’ Homes on a Per Resident Basis.
This bill would provide a long-term funding solution that reflects the true cost of care for our Veterans, allowing MVH to operate sustainably while continuing to serve residents at every level of need.
