Gratitude Giving

How can I say “Thank you?”

Our residents and their families often want to recognize staff for the care, dedication, and comfort they receive while at one of six Maine Veterans’ Homes. As an independent, nonprofit organization, we rely on public support to help us achieve our mission of “caring for those who served.”
The Maine Veterans’ Homes Gratitude Program allows you to make a gift in honor of a nurse, therapist, caregiver, or staff member who made a difference to you or your loved one while at one of our Homes. Gifts will support our Resident Activities Funds that allow our residents to participate in a rich menu of activities.
While keeping the gift amount confidential, we send acknowledgment cards to our team members, notifying them of the special recognition.

Why give?

When you contribute to the Gratitude Program at Maine Veterans’ Homes, your donation directly benefits Maine’s Veteran heroes and their families. Your gift will enhance our ability to provide the best care possible for our Veterans, their spouses and Gold Star parents, and it is a meaningful way to express your gratitude for the top  notch care that we provide.
