COVID-19 How You Can Help

While each of our Homes have a supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on hand, the nationwide shortage of these items is making it difficult to fully prepare in the event a resident is diagnosed with COVID-19.

WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING:

  • Hand sanitizer
  • Disinfection wipes
  • Thermometers
  • Face shields and goggles
  • Disposable coveralls and scrubs
  • Shoe covers

In order to assure quality control, donations of personal protective equipment must be in original and unopened packaging.

Please email us at donations@mainevets.org to coordinate a drop off time and location.

If you have any questions you may also call 207-430-4484.

Many of you have asked how you can support Maine Veterans’ Homes at this time and we sincerely appreciate your kind thoughts.

For those who can contribute monitarilly, we have established a COVID-19 Response Fund where gifts to this fund will go to support keeping the virus out of our Homes.

The nationwide shortages of these items are making it difficult to buy them, however here are some of the items we are trying to acquire.  Click on any of the items to make a donation.
