Located in Aroostook County, in the most northeastern city in the United States, Maine Veterans’ Homes in Caribou offers a variety of unique attributes and opportunities for the individuals who reside in our home. MVH Caribou remains connected to our region’s agricultural roots, with world-famous Maine potato fields located directly behind our facility.
Our diverse activities programs truly capture life in Aroostook County. Residents attend the Acadian Festival in Madawaska, one of the Four Corners of the United States. They enjoy trips to local vendors on Maple Syrup Sunday, apple/pumpkin picking and bus rides to watch the potato harvesters in action. Fishing in local stocked ponds is an annual tradition; with local chefs preparing their catch for all to enjoy.
